CLASSES

Here are our current class offerings at PoCo Karate.

Space is limited. 

Beginners Martial Arts Class

Little Karateka - Kids Karate Classes (ages 5 to 6 years)  *Enrolling for Sept 2024*

Introductory Karate and Physical Literacy through structured play and Karate drills.

Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

6:15pm to 6:45pm.

Kobudo Classes (ages 7+)
(Okinawan Weapons)

Traditional Kobudo (weapons) training. Students will be gradually introduced to Bo (staff), Nunchaku, Sai, Tonfa, and Kama.  Emphasis is on the safe and responsible handling of the weapons, while developing practical self defence skills that can apply to every day objects.

Practicing Karate

Kids Karate Classes (ages 7 to 12 years)

Beginner and Intermediate lessons for kids. Emphasis on movement and fitness.  Age appropriate introduction to self defence and anti-bullying principles and full curriculum karate training.

 

Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

7:00pm to 7:55pm.

Karate Practice

Adults Karate Classes (ages 13+)

Beginner through Advanced training. Providing fitness challenges for every level of ability. Emphasis is on full karate curriculum and self defence principles.

8:00pm to 9:00pm
